The eight-part series will provide dramatic twists and turns as participants compete under pressure, to master the skills that are essential in the profession Jay Manuel will serve as host/producer of "Canada's Next Top Model". Canada joins Australia, France, Germany, Russia, The United Kingdom, Thailand, The Philippines, Sweden, Norway and Denmark in licensing the format rights for Next Top Model.
About the Host Jay A favorite of "ANTM" fans everywhere, Jay Manuel (www.jaymanuel.com) made his debut on the first cycle of "America's Next Top Model" in 2003, as Makeup Artist and Photo Director, offering colorful commentary and industry expertise to the girls. In Cycle 2 of ANTM, he took the reins as Photo Shoot Art Director and Producer, pushing the girls through the rigors of the fashion industry. Three years and seven cycles later, Jay's popularity with fans has become an integral part of the ratings success of "America's Next Top Model". In addition to his role on "ANTM", Jay is also the Host of the Style Network's hottest new show "Style Her Famous". He is fashion correspondent on the E! Network's Red Carpet Shows, including the Golden Globes, the Emmy Awards and the Academy Awards. With an eye for creating stunning conceptual direction, his superb makeup skills are highly sought after.
