When did you first start to sing?
When I was 2 years old.
Do you have any formal singing training?
Yes. I was in the Oakland Youth Chorus from 1993-1996 and I’ve taken private lessons on and off.
What other talents do you have?
I’m good at helping others with their problems and also I’m a licensed bartender. (smile)
If you don’t make it on AMERICAN IDOL, what will you do?
I will continue going to school and pursuing a career in music as well as real estate.
What are your personal goals in life?
To live healthy, happy and be financially comfortable.

Alanis Morrisette.

Boyz II Men.

Singing and messing up in front of the whole school back in junior high.

A musician on piano, guitar, bass, and drums.
What has been your proudest moment in life so far?
Going after what I want out of life without looking back, only looking forward.
What is your definition of an AMERICAN IDOL?
Someone who is of course talented, but also helps others besides themselves.
Why do you want to be an AMERICAN IDOL?
I want to be an inspiration, and I want to do my part of making a positive change in the world.
Who is your favorite judge and why?
Simon, because you never know what he’s going to say.
Who is your least favorite judge and why?
Randy, because I don’t agree with him a lot of the time.
What advice do you have for other hopefuls?
Listen and accept corrective criticism, and never give up believing in yourself.
What would people be surprised to learn about you?
I’m quite funny.
