When I could talk.

Do you have any formal singing training?
Yes…very little. I’ve been training for the last 2 months.

What other talents do you have?
I play the flute, guitar, and piano.

If you don’t make it on AMERICAN IDOL, what will you do?
Still pursue a career in the music industry…record, perform, and always work to get better.

What are your personal goals in life?
To be happy first, become the next American Idol, live debt free, and get married one day.

I don’t know.

Amy Grant.

Beyonce Knowles.

Who is your AMERICAN IDOL?
My parents!!! They are the best that anyone could ever dream of having!!!

What is your favorite type of music?
Pop, rock and contemporary Christian.

What is your favorite song to sing?
“Fever.”

Nick Carter.

Favorite female pop artist?
Christina Aguilera.

Favorite album of all time?
I can’t pick!!!

Who in the music world do you think your style is most like?
I don’t think I’m like anyone else out there…I don’t know…??

Most embarrassing moment?
In high school, I was the color guard captain with my band. We were at a competition and my co-captain and I were standing in the middle of the field to accept awards. They announced that our group won Best in Class! Mary was so excited that she took off in a dead sprint to grab the trophy. She forgot that she had her arm locked around me!! Well, Mary tripped and fell down…. and Lisa tumbled with her!! There were at least 500 people in the stands and the whole place roared with laughter! It was funny, but bad at the same time. It caused me to fracture my wrist!! Ouch!

If you couldn’t sing, which talent would you most like to have?
I’d like to be able to fix cars! Mine always seem to have issues!

What has been your proudest moment in life so far?
Making it on American Idol!!!

What is your definition of an AMERICAN IDOL?
Someone who has passion for whatever they love and give it their all! They have to be a good role model and a big heart!

Why do you want to be an AMERICAN IDOL?
I feel like I have a lot to give the world and what better way to give than to give my voice!

Who is your favorite judge and why?
I love them all. No, I’m not sucking up! They all contribute a vital part to the judging process.

Who is your least favorite judge and why?
I don’t have a least favorite.

What advice do you have for other hopefuls?
Listen to the Nike commercial…just do it!! No one is stopping you but yourself.

What would people be surprised to learn about you?
My hair is 50% gray.
