Age 4, around the house.

If you don’t make it on AMERICAN IDOL, what will you do?
I will definitely follow my dream of being a performer and artist. I will also further my career and maybe get into the corporate world.

What are your personal goals in life?
To be happy with myself first and they try to help as many other people as I can. Touch people through song and just be successful in all I do!!!

“Annie” soundtrack.

Whitney Houston.

Beyonce, Janet Jackson, oldies, inspirational.

Who is your AMERICAN IDOL?
My mother and grandmother for setting a positive example for me to follow and want to be like.

What is your favorite type of music?
Gospel, R&B, and Pop.

What is your favorite song to sing?
“Amazing Grace” or something inspirational.

Old - Stevie Wonder. New - Usher or Brian McKnight.

Favorite female pop artist?
Old - Whitney Houston. New – Beyonce.

Favorite album of all time?
Whitney Houston’s first three CDs, Michael Jackson’s old and first CDs.

Who in the music world do you think your style is most like?
Whitney or Celine Dion, Anita Baker or someone like Tamia or Beyonce. Although I do have my own style of a mixture of many different styles.

Most embarrassing moment?
Falling down while meeting a very handsome guy!!!!!

If you couldn’t sing, which talent would you most like to have?
Playing an instrument.

What has been your proudest moment in life so far?
My Education, Miss Beloit 1999. ( I was able to be a positive example for the youth growing up now)

I like all three because they tell the truth most of the time!!!

Who is your least favorite judge and why?
I have no least favorite. Everyone would probably say Simon, but I believe he tells the truth about 85% of the time.

What advice do you have for other hopefuls?
Follow your dream and never give up!!!

What would people be surprised to learn about you?
I love sports and play a few.
