QUESTIONS When did you first start to sing? At 5 years old. Do you have any formal singing training? In high school I was trained in classical by a vocal coach, for college auditions. What other talents do you have? Taking black and white photography, beatboxing, rollerskating, dancing. If you don't make it on AMERICAN IDOL, what will you do? I will continue to pursue my reality. What are your personal goals in life? To be blessed with so much, that i have so much to give back. What album would your friends be surprised you own? None at all, because they know with me anything goes. Who is your AMERICAN IDOL? N/A Do you have any rituals or things you do each time before you perform? Prayer and an altoid. Favorite male pop artist? Prince. Favorite female pop artist? Tina Turner, cause she has a great last name :) Most embarrassing moment? I went on a college expedition trip in 10th grade to FAMU. I was walking with 4 other girls. I was in the middle. They were 12th graders. People were everywhere cause it was homecoming. I'm walking and next thing I know I'm in a hole and my friends on the right and left parted like the red sea. What has been your proudest moment in life so far? Singing for President Clinton and 8 world leaders in Japan at the G8 Summit. If you couldn't sing, which talent would you most like to have? I would be a painter or #1 electric guitar player in the world. What is your definition of an AMERICAN IDOL? American Idol is a representation of music in America showing talent and originality. Who is your favorite judge and why? Simon - He's HOT! What would people be surprised to learn about you? I love to bowl and I'm in a Rock Soul Christian Band. I love to play spades. How has this changed your life? It has opened doors with opportunities that I may not have had before. Do you have any lucky charms? Two nails intertwined that makes a cross, that I wear around my neck. Who are your heroes in life? My mom. What's been your toughest obstacle in life? My best friend passing away.
